From the eternally burning fire of the Hell Gate, beginning along the Messiness Ridge line and running as far east as the city of cologne would be engulfed by this new terror. Hamburg would survive, but the Netherlands, parts of Luxemburg and everything to just north of Verdun now become the Wasted Lands.

Lands destroyed by the opening of the Hell Gate, those who lived here have long since perished. The fires of Blue and Red burn both day and night, and the howling scream that comes and goes like the wind is enough to drive any normal person insane.

From this destroyed wasteland come the "Creatures of Hell." The Demonic beast, the mutated and warped remains of fellow soldiers, and the warped and twisted remnants of the metal machines that mankind once used.
